A few more Wade Pics

Just because I'm feeling like we didn't get enough close ups of my handsome boy in the last post, following are a few more gratuitous pics from the weekend...

 

All done with week 3

Another week in the books, and again we managed to pack a significant amount of activity in.

Lola Vasseur was dropped off at the airport on Saturday the 13th and we've started to get a routine down without the extra set of hands she provided.   Here are some pics from the week:

Our first real bath was this weekend...went off without a hitch (or a dropped baby)

And lastly to wrap up this very busy weekend...Mommy, Daddy & Wade went to Tierney's Tavern for a nice family dinner of Wings, Burgers, Fries & Beer (Guiness for Mommy, Yuengling (sp?) for Daddy)

Wow, I sure know how to spoil my lady...

So, the first week back at work is complete and in the books...unfortunately, I've found that it's not that easy to find the time to get these posts up.   So I think it's reasonable to expect to see updates about once a week moving forward.

With that being said, we've had a busy week...Lola was in town to assist mommy

Wade had his 2nd week check up and is up to a solid 8 lbs 10 oz, and his mother is convinced he's looking more and more like a little white boy...

Speaking of turning two weeks old...I took these photos at 5:30 in the morning on Thursday morning with the 2nd two coming later in the day after his bath from Mommy.

I know that the first pic was already posted, but my mom dropped off some photos of me as an infant, and I thought that I just had to re-share the pic of Wade and I to juxtapose with a pic of my father and I in 1977

As promised earlier, here are some pics with Wade's eyes open

1.5 days and 2 nights in...

Wade came home on Monday night and the first night was quite uneventful...as mentioned earlier, Parker gave us no problems with the little bundle (simply wanted to get a good sniff and lick in).  What we didn't anticipate is that every time Wade would get up during the night, so would Parker, moving with us from the bedroom to the nursery each time.

We also had our first check up with the pediatrician yesterday and Wade's weight is moving back up to his birth weight after losing 12 oz's his first 3 days of life.  

I don't recall who got us the following snow suit at the baby shower, but boy oh boy is this kid adorable (again, I'm incredibly biased)

Also, I swear that Wade does wake up from time to time, it just happens to be between the hours of 1:00 and 5:00 am....so I don't normally have the wherewithal to start snapping photos.  I promise I'll try to do so tonight (or if I can catch him awake today).
